I ordered another Ford clutch master so I could stretch her legs a little. We'll see if it arrives on time. The car hasn't moved an inch since Nov. 10. I actually kinda miss the old POS.

The upgraded master isn't on the want to do list yet. LOL

I think I can make that. The Marauder will be staying home, though. It's put away for the winter. Waiting for it to warm up, though, so I can get those new hubs and bearings installed up front, and get the new fogs installed.

Your insurance bill goes down dramatically if you just put it on comprehensive during storage.

I used to chuckle at the guys that came to our 4x4 meetings, in their wives minivans. Some people on here, from what I'm reading, seem to have enough money for both a heavily customized Marauder, and a daily driver, but can't keep their insurance or license plates current. I don't get that.

I completely understand what your saying. I wipe my rims off every other day, and I wont wash it unless it's 32° or above. So obviously it's been colder than that, and I have to see it with salt on it. But at least the rims look shiny! The last nice day we had, I wiped the engine down. It looked good for about two days and then we got hit with more snow. It looked like someone threw up all over it, but white! Maybe like a clam chowder? You get the picture.

I get it for show cars, but I'm the kind of guy who would daily drive a $80 grand car if could afford to have one. After only having mine 2 months, I'm loving it. I wouldn't dream of driving anything less now unless I had to. It would be cool to have 2 Marauders...

I guess I've had a second car most of my life, mainly a beater work car. I've had a company van for the last four or five years now, so my beater sat for short while till I realized my Marauder kinda turned into a bit of a toy. Not wanting to be seen in my beater and not wanting to drive the Marauder in crappy weather I upgraded to something for more daily use that looks a bit more respectable.

As for plates and ins. I keep both in full effect throughout the year, even the trailer. Only time I don't is if I forget.. Sure, I waste $50 a month, but that is probably a single digit percentage of my actual financial monthly waste.
