According to my calculator that is $ 1.04 DIFFERENCE !!!!!!!!!!
At Walmart 2 miles and 5 min later:

$0.31 to 0.50 is the normal difference between 89 & 93 octane around this area. $1+ is very high.
Wow, we are paying $1.10 per liter up here in Canada where I'm at. That's over 4$ gallon.

If no 93 is available, what is the next acceptable grade the marauder can use without seeing detrimental effects?

If you think that's expensive, you should go buy some VP109, $2.50 a gallon will seem like a bargain.

difference between 87 octane ($1.85) 89 octane ($2.15) = 35 cents/gallon and 93 octane ($2.60) = 75 cents/gallon
On a tight budget, it has to be considred when chosing a daily driver.

We have had a nice pricewar around here ever since costco opened a gasbar. It's 94.4 cents per litre for 91 there now, everyone else is over 95 cents.
That works out to ABOUT $3.60 per gallon.
Of course it is on sale for our American friends for about $2.52 per gallon with your American dollars.

Just in case anyone hasn't heard of torco, I've heard it works really well
I use methanol on my boosted cars, but torco is a good additive like xylene, it gets your octane to your desired level of octane rating

Xylene is the real deal. Carcinogenic stuff, be careful. Maybe I should put a 55 gallon drum of 100 octane in the garage. 4 gallons per tank and a 93 octane tune would be nice. I see a Fire Marshall Bill (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_In_Living_Color_sketch es#F) skit in here somewhere . . .

Yeah..... I'll stick with vp products, I don't need to lunch a motor by saving a few bucks playing chemist.

You folks are kind of surprising me. All the talk with the exception of a mention of mixing Racing gas has been about cheap pricing.
Cheap prices are great as long as you are getting quality fuel for that price? My area Regular Unleaded with up to 10% Ethanol is running around $1.70 a gallon for 87 Octane. 93 is still well over $2.00 a gallon but that also includes Ethanol.
Ethanol for me is a Non-Starter. I'm paying right about $2.50 a gallon for Ethanol Free High Octane and I'm OK with that....The Only way Ethanol is going in my Marauder is if it's Use it or Walk on a trip.

What were you paying a year ago for Premium?
What were you spending on gas a year ago?
Talk to your tuner about a Regular Gas Tune.

I think ethanol is one of the most blatant illustrations of a gov't boondoggle . There has never been a shortage of fossil fuel now or in the foreseeable future. With new technology the gasoline engine has minimum pollution in the US. Ethanol use required millions of dollars in engine mods and still causes problems.
I can never condone using a food for fuel when people are starving. And to top it all , when E35 came out, gasoline users were subsidizing it to the tune of $ .57 per gallon sold---- the current rate is about $.52. My rant is over. Maury
