I have a running motor in my 2003 Marauder that I am getting ready to pull out. The short block I installed had 72 k miles 3 years ago out of an 2005 Aviator now has 100k miles on short block and the heads were freshened up (had two burnt valve and valve job done about 30k miles ago). The engine runs well and also has 98 cobra intake cams installed and degreed @ 108/112. The Engine dyno @ 292 hp. and 306 torque. The engine runs very well and idle is smooth due to having the cams degreed. I will be selling the motor with the front cover. Item I will be removing are intake, valve covers and oil pan and pick up tube. I need for my new motor that is being built this week. I have an oil pan and cam cover for shipping if needed. Asking $2000 + Shipping. Thanks.

Talked to Steve today and the block is back and should start putting it together this week. Will be nice 10.5 to one and also updating cams better profile for heavy auto NA car. Should up the torque by 20-50 lbs across the curve.

Thanks

Going with stock displacement? 10.5:1 sounds like a nice opportunity to run some race gas and more spark!

Your pullout sounds like a nice one too... Nice upgrade with the cobra cams, and degreed too. That takes a lot of effort.

It was a very long weekend getting the cam were they are. Runs well but the new motor end up at 10.2 to 1 and customer cams should put down 325-350 ft tq over my 308 ft tq now. Will post up after my new dyno. I will also be installing a ported lower intake can not wait to get it done and back on the road. I have Jpeg clip of the motor running but it did not want to up load.

Thanks,
Russ

So all this work and $ to remain N/A...is that what I am reading here?...Seems it wouldn't take much more to get a S/C , even if a smaller one ,out of all this work .....if so why?
