Sorry, didn't mention that I'm N/A..I would like to stay with Motorcraft...They lasted 95000 miles without a problem..I'm just wondering if I should stay with the stock plugs or change because of the 93 octane tune...(Lidio's)....I would email Lidio and ask him but,his website doen't give an email address...only a phone number...I'll call him if I have to but,I was hoping to get an answer here....

Just go to your local Ford dealer and they will get you the correct spark plugs.

My question really boils down to.....Do I need a different plug than stock because I have a 93 octane tune.....

No. The only time you would need a colder spark plug would be if you had a power adder like a supercharger or turbo.

Here's a link directly to the spark plugs section at rockauto.com

Motorcraft Platinum plugs for $2.52 each is a good price. I'd just stick with them.

No, you won't need different plugs for a 93 octane tune.

These are most of the plugs available for the Marauder:

Spark Plugs:
Stock Heat Range:
Autolite –104
Autolite Double Platinum – APP104
Autolite Iridium / Xtreme Performance – XP104
Champion Copper Plus – RS12YC
Champion Platinum Power – 3401
Champion Double Platinum – 7963
Champion Iridium – 9204
Bosch – BSH7571
Bosch Platinum – BSH4205
Bosch Platinum+2 – BSH4305
Bosch Platinum+4 – BSH4458
MOTORCRAFT SP433 {#AGSF32WM, AGSF32WMF4}
NGK V Power – TR55
NGK G Power Platinum – TR55GP
NGK Laser Platinum – PTR5C-13
NGK Irdium IX – TR55IX
AC Delco – R42LTS6
AC Delco Platinum – 41810

Colder Heat Range:
NGK – TR6 (+1 colder)
Autolite Iridium / Xtreme Performance – XP103 (+1 colder)

NOTE: Personally I'd never run Champion plugs in any Ford product. I included the information for completeness.

NOTE 2: Running colder heat range plugs won't do anything unless your tune is made for the colder plugs.

NOTE 3: I change plugs once a year regardless of mileage. Cheap insurance.

I put a set of E3 spark plug in my Mercury Marauder. And I love them. They work awesome for me. But everybody has different preferences. But these are worth every penny you pay for them.

Looking at the online reviews of the E3 plugs, some like them some don't.

Let's think about this.... if you'll get better gas mileage out of these plugs why wouldn't the car manufacturers use them since all of them want to get better gas mileage?

Same with additives, if they worked the manufacturer would specify them in the owners manual.

Glad they work for you!

When they fail check here:

2nd plug question in as many days.. With FastBlackMerc's part list, perhaps THIS thread should be a sticky?
