Sct x3 programmer problem

Okay, I purchased a marauder and had a custom tune put on..sold the car about 3 or 4 years ago and forgot to take the custom tune off... just found my marauder on Craigslist and purchased her back now when I plug up the x3 programmer it states incorrect vehicle. What could have been done to the car to make the programmer not notice the car..I tried it on a friend marauder and it wrote the the tune on his car but will not on mines which is the original one it was programmed to. By the way, I'm glad to have my baby back it's been 4 long years we been apart..

You'll need to remove the vin lock on a PC before it will work on a different vehicle.
