Metco and Sparta are pretty close to identical I would say. I have metco..big difference in rear end control over stock, curves, etc.

The home made boxxed lowers work well on a budget!
The OEM bushings are not quite as tight as the hi-tech poly bushings .

I just installed the Heinous Billet ones and the car was more solid and the rear axle felt connected to the road. It was more precise and composed in slalom maneuvers and felt like the car lost a few hundred pounds.

The Metcos are the only way to go! There aluminum, lightweight, and will not rust like powder coated steel , get the watts link as well, and transform the way your car handles.

Sparta TOO! You can read my "I am a Believer Ho Ho Ho" pre Christmas thread about the installation and differences. I know Sparta is a dealer here, Metco may be too (I do not know).

Both offer extreme noticeable "when you shut the doors -- before you even start the motor" improvement in body shake, wag, and shimmy.

Someone also previously wrote, "Now handles like an HK Jag - Ask me how I know," and I thought they were exaggerating. They were not!

I likened the change to the car feeling as if it lost 1,000lbs and became a foot shorter, and a foot narrower."

PS: Since you are there, you might also add the Addco sway bars, and some newer shocks (Monroe Severe Duty or KYB) to complete the transformation.

My car has the metco arms and watts link set up. I bought it like that and haven't been to the track yet but it works very well on the street. The rear feels well planted.

Also keep in mind that Jegs , and Summit will price match any DEALER on ebay, just give them the item id# on the eBay add , and they will match it , i saved hundreds on different orders.

That's good to know. Ebay prices in a place you can trust. Summit has free shipping too, or they did last time I ordered from them.

OP.... you say the stockers have worked..... just see how bad they "worked" after you install some real control arms... Metco FTW :banana2:

I'm not sure what your power goals are but ours are rated for 700RWHP on full weight Panther. With Delrin sleeve they do not affect ride quality.

Rear control arms are the single best handling improvement you can make. Hit it around a corner on stockers trying to do a nice power slide and you get that irritating shimmy shake. GONE with this mod. Worth the price of admission right there.

I haven't noticed much of a difference with the Watts link yet. Only have a few hundred miles on them and have not driven aggressively with them. Addco's seem to help cornering a lot. Obviously.

Got the Metco CAs & watts link installed several years back & was glad I spent a lit bit extra $ for some big smiles everytime I hit the turns & corners hard!! Give em :burn:

Here's the Heinous arms installed and compared to OE with the pencil-eraser bushings already removed. They're greasable and the fittings are staggered for ease of access. These took about 1 hour to install and I did them one at a time with nothing but the car off the ground. No screw jacks or prying was required.

There is something to be said for minimizing bind with rubber bushings as the four-link design demands some compliance for articulation. Maintenance (replacing worn rubber) will be a fact of life, but allowing the sway bar and springs to do the control rather than binding control arms is a Good Thing.

I never tried it and am going a different route now (torque arm) to address this, but I suspect sturdy steel rubber-bushed control arms with a polyurethane-bushed Watt's link could be the ideal combination.

Wow! Now I'm convinced.

I have everything Sparta made for the suspension. The car handles like it is on rails.
