Upgraded from Grand Marquis to Marauder in PA

Hello! Very excited to have picked up a Marauder. 2004 Black on Black. 53k on the odometer. OEM Stock, no mods. Just got it Monday.

Came here because I am considering turning it into a sleeper hot rod.

I'll miss the Grand Marquis (2008, GS, Grey, 67k miles at time of trade) but no regrets picking up the Marauder.

I also have a Black 2010 Challenger SRT8, manual 6 speed, magnaflow exhaust, otherwise stock.

The Marauder will be my daily driver! :banana:

Just got my second Marauder this past Monday: I bought Nightcrawler's (formerly "Levi's") built 2003 that was posted in the sale forum.

Drove down to Florida in my 04 with a buddy. He drove the 04 back and I drove the 03. About 2000 miles round trip, half of which was in that built '03.:D

That's what I figured. It's way more than I would have built on my own accord, but I thought that given the fair price and extensive mods, it would be a good buy.

Here's the 04 I bought a couple weeks ago, parked next to another vehicle Ford no longer makes.

The previous owner appears to have blacked out the badges.

I bought some mercury god head emblems from one of the vendors on this site, just haven't put them on yet.

ETA I also think the trunk lid is a replacement. The rest of the car appears to be black from the OEM. The trunk lid was silver and has been painted. The spoiler is in the trunk. I think the trunk lid came from a Crown Vic or something, because there's no recesses or anything to mount the spoiler to. Not sure though.

Marauders are a sickness!!!!!! I went from one basically stock black 03 marauder I had for 4 years to 3 MMs in about 6 months. (the stock 03, black 04 trilogy, and a blue vortech that's now getting a snail pace whipple swap).

We need to meet up sometime, I work in MontCo near Pennsburg.
