OK,I got the info....FC was a "value brand" that Ford had but,no longer has....Ford dealers can't sell them even if they have them....Other venders like the OEM Parts Site that I listed in my post earlier may still have them..

I'll check it out....The "whole assembly" is all Ford sells...I would like to get the resister part alone...But, as I said Ford only sells the whole assembly....Maybe that's what the FC part is???
Actually it's a rheostat.....variable resistor...

Anyway,I changed out the air suspension relay..#303 in the BJB...Keeping my fingers crossed that is what it was...
Thinking was...what could power the compressor with the switch off???a shorted relay...It's in a circuit that is always "hot"...

Changing the relay did not cure it...Pulling it stopped the compressor but, after putting in a new one,,same problem...So,that wasn't it....Next,I'll check out the trunk switch, see if I can find a short...I have a new switch incase that's it...
I'm throwing parts at it to avoid a trip to the dealer...I hate the local dealer...I know he'll end up charging me thousands...
I have a new height sensor coming and hopefully a control module...

If none of that does it,I'll go to spring conversion...I can't find a real mechanic that can do all the diagnostics that would pinpoint the problem...

May have to take a few days off and drive up to MO's....

The Blackbird once ran the air compressor until the battery went dead. I discovered one morning the back end was way high. Jumped the battery and the compressor started right up. Turned out to be the RAS module.
