Installed the real autometer unit. Cold startup with specified oil is 75 psi. First time I've drove it much today, I see hot idle is are 15 psi at 750 rpm. By 2000 rpm it's at 60+. Is that hot idle number normal? Car runs like a top. Perhaps a different weight oil?

You're good to go.

Mobil 1 0W/30

Cold = 100 + PSI

Hot idle = 15 - 25 PSI

Your good to go!

It's typically 10+psi per 1,000 rpm. Per engine builders.

It's nice that it just doesnt sit at 55 or so like a lazy ass all the time now 😆
