Downpipes

Looking to buy a pair of catless downpipes that start from the stock manifolds.

Nothing you can buy off the shelf, someone would have had to remove them off their stock downpipes which is extremely rare, I can only recall reading about one maybe two people who have done it.

Most people remove just the second set of cats and are pleased with the increased exhaust note even with stock mufflers.

Thanks guys. I'm not looking for an increased exhaust note, but that's fine as a byproduct. The goal is a more efficient exhaust system. I have a 2.5 inch x pipe kit ready to go in. I also have magnaflow 2.5 inch cats as well. I just need pipes to go from the manifolds to the cats I have at the trans bellhousing area.

I can have them made, but if someone here has a set, ID rather just do it that way.

I'm also open to cobra manifolds if someone has a set of downpipes with them included.

I had Mustang ceramic coated shorty headers installed, 2 hi flo catsand Magnaflow polished SS mufflers, all joing together by mandrel bent SS 2.5" pipes. Used the stock resonated tips.

Sounds good when needed and I got about a 2MPG increase.

Thanks for the info. I saw pictures of your setup. That's pretty much what I'm going for except I'm keeping the factory mufflers. Cobra manifolds are not a requirement however
