To my fellows with widened rears what tires are you running or would suggest as a set currently I'm running stock BFGs of the front but Goodyear F1s out back 295/45/18 what tire would you guys recommend that's a good all around tire i.e. normal driving, occasional auto x, seldom drag strip, and even more seldom road course. I would like some what quiet also but I know there is a sacrifice

As you seem to have concerns about cornering keep the sidewall vertical. A tire too wide for the rim is counterproductive. Of course, switching to a lower profile like 35 or 40 series is a big help also, but not really an option without increasing wheel diameter.

I was looking at that tire but so many mixed reviews. Have you ran that tire? If so what are your pros and cons with it?

Going 19s was actually a consideration if I did go that route I would try and get as close to the stock setups weight if not lighter as possible I already have the upgraded watts link, upper and lower control arms just need sway bars now

20" wheels gets you to stock diameters in low-profile performance tires (see my sig). Light weight is a worthy goal, but one cannot better the forged OEM wheels low weight by much. Better grip is easy enough, just $$.

No, I run Nitto 555. My car doesn't see snow or wet

I'm using Mickey Thompson 304/45-18 drag radials, they are no good in the snow....or rain.

I am unaware of a tire that will meet your requirements.

Nitto 555, super affordable, decent life, great performer on the track, and wet performance not bad.

I have 245/45/19 in front and 275/45/19 in the rear. Seems to hold corners pretty well.
