Nitto now has the NT555 G2 available. Unfortunately the 265/50-18 is not listed.

I've contacted them but they give mo no indication as to when this size might be available.
Wondering if anyone would be willing to contact Nitto to ask them when this size might be available? My thought is the more people that contact Nitto about this size, the sooner they might make it available.
Here's a link.

Wonder how these tires handle low end grunt vehicles. Newer mustang has no balls.
Nitto NT555 G2's no matter what size are only a AA Traction tire. You need NT05R if you got the balls (Torque) or NT05 for the Street.

My guess us a 265/50/18 will never be avail in the new tire. Not a regular size. No other company makes a 265/50/18. Get it while you can in the 555

I think you are right. I love that size though. the overall height is very close to the OE size but it's wider.

Just bought these for my Daytona.
In a month or so (clean roads) I'll have input as to the standing start and cornering performance.
Not a drag radial for bite - but hopefully better than most summer tires.

Somebody let us know how the NT555 G2 handle. Interested to know if they live up to the hype. I will be doing wheels and tires by summer.

I got a weekend driving these on my Daytona.
They grip fantastic in corners and braking. They spin from a dead stop as easily as Blizzak snow tires did.
So, no biting traction for high power starting line, but did not feel them give out up to 0.85g on corners. Feel better than the Cooper RS3 on my LX Sport, which are great.
