OK folks,

Was doing a bit of maintenance( plugs and air filter ) and noticed a bit of weeping where the crossover tube goes into the block.

Read back on the Trilogy manuel and noted that the joint is an O ring seal.

Anyone know size and /Or any other specs re those Orings so I can replace before anything stupid happens?:bows:

I believe you can still get them at a Ford dealer.

I believe that is part # 391533-S100
From what I have read it is a 1.05x1.25x.10 or standard 121 O-ring

The ford part number is a few posts up, only searchable under Lincolns
You get them at ford in packs of 3

Or McMaster Carr part number 913S70

According to my dealer , that's not a Ford part number ,so I'll guess they can't get it.

However, I just want to know where that quoted part number is from ,so I can go there and get it.

O rings are pretty common, shouldn't be tough, it would just be easier to know you had the right one before tearing everything apart.

It's this easy...ready?
You walk up to a ford parts counter and order 391533-s100
You wait a day or 2 and poof! You have 3 o-rings

Or order a bag of 25 from McMaster which are superior quality and 5 dollars less than only 3 from Ford

It's the correct part number, simply use google to verify.
You'll get a bunch of hits

The part number given looks odd because it is a Ford "standard" parts number. Standard parts are generally hardware, o-rings, bolts and nuts etc. that are available at Ford and elsewhere. If the Ford parts guy doesn't recognize it as a standard part number he is new and hasn't a clue on what he is doing. I believe the o'rings come in packages of 3 if you order a package of them.

For example....http://parts.autonationfordwhitebearl ake.com/oe-ford/391533s100
