Anyone know of anything better than Cometic MLS stainless steel gaskets (http://www.cometic.com/custom-gaskets.aspx)?
Felpro 1141L and 1141R is fine for any power level
How on earth can a MLS gasket be better than the other?
Don't get scammed by advertising or thinking a higher price means better quality!

I would use oem Motorcraft, Felpro , or Cometic , but i wouldn't pay more for one brand over the other.

I run Cometic's on my 302 Boss Aluminum push Rod block. That is in my Race Car Show Car 90 Fox Mustang. And never have had a problem.

KC of BRG Racing just shared he uses Cometic's MLS stainless.

Because that's a higher markup
When will everyone learn???

KC does not charge any markup for most parts. He shows the receipts for all parts orders. Many of the parts in my re-build I provided via Rockauto, Summit, eBay, etc.. (like all the suspension and rear-end parts). The exceptions are shipping costs and time required to research unique parts (not available - must be built custom). Ex.: my brake hats. The blocks of billet aluminum were not marked up. The cad program and CnC work were service costs I paid.
BRG Racing primarily earns revenue from engine design, build and tuning services provided.

I'm ready to see what this thing does on the dyno... And on the track.

I have never driven anything on a 1/4 miles track; just race bikes on race tracks. Guess I will need to find one near me.

I've been thinking about doing some laps at Thunder Hill in Willows. You can get on the track for a pretty reasonable price at the Ultimate Street Car event. Too late for this year, have to wait for next time. :(

I have raced motorcycles at Laguna Seca, Sonoma and Thunderhill. These short race tracks, and Willows, are not drag strips. I want to go to a drag stripe and live the dream of reaching 12s. :)

Funny, I did the 12 second drag race thing at Sonoma in my 20's with my 1970 GTO running a 454 Chevy. So now I want to do the road course. AFAIK Sonoma still lets you bracket race a dozen times a year.
