Autoweek reported on the longterm test of the 350Z.
The following model problems were reported;
excessive front tire wear
transmission failures ( Nissan redesigned 3X)
poor audio system
interior rattles
bouncy suspension
pulls to the rite
seat wearing out.
30 TSB issued. I realize it was a new model.
I really like the 350Z, if I were buying a 2 door it would be a candidate. :rock:

I know this wasn't do-able on the Marauder because it only ran 2 years, but what I've learned from this ownership experience is to never buy the first year or two of any new model. I think it's wise to wait a couple years and let them work the kinks out. This goes for more than cars. My first gen Apple Titanium PowerBook G4 had some issues that were quickly fixed on the second gen models. Like the Marauder, it was nothing huge, but just a few little annoyances.
I really hope Ford builds the 427. If they do, I'll get one for sure, but I won't be the first in line like I was for my Marauder. :)

Try the G35 Coupe...better quality, and a bit quicker with a manual, and more definitive looking IMHO.
(They're pretty much the same car...same platform
