Weather permitting, I should have this done before or by the Louisville meet. I'll be doing some out of my league mechanics because of some life challenges, (labor is expensive & my baby is too :bigcry:) so here goes nothing... To those who don't know, I've been collecting parts for boost for about a year now. I've decided on a centrifugal blower because I was scared off by a couple of Eaton install threads. Last June, I scored a P1SC blower with a 3.6" pulley and never looked back. My goal is to have a reliable 400+RWHP Marauder. Here is what going on:

1) Type of Blower: P1SC with a 3.6” SC Pulley 6 rib
2) Amount of boost: 9 - 12 PSI
3) RWHP: 400+
4) Motor: Aluminum block with Forged Crank, Rods, and Pistons. 10:1 comp
5) Moroso oil pan
6) Tensioner type: 3-bolt Thump tensioner with 98 Cobra timing cover
7) Intercooler: Air to Air Treadstone 1035: Rated up to 666 HP
8) 50mm BOV
9) Aeromotive 340 (93 Octane) with 39LB injectors
10) SCT BA-5000 (Blow Thru Maf)
11) GlowShift gauges: Boost, Air/fuel with sensor, Fuel Pressure

Note worthy mods: Cot risers, 96-98 Cobra 3 bolt thump tensioner, Carbon fiber cam/intake covers, Catch can Eliminated power pipe. Well wishes and helpful advice is always welcomed. Pics will be posted as I make progress.

That's on my list of mods after boost.

Are the jmods and torque converters compatible with each other?

Jmod just makes your tranny flow more fluid reducing heat firmer shifts faster shifts longer life. But then again the 04 have beefier trans so not sure if you would benefit from a jmod or bigger cooler or both. There are stories of eaton swaps and stock trannys taking a crap and I mean more then a few. That's why I had mo do a bigger cooler jmod already done on my 03. http://www.americanmuscle.com/what-is-a-j-mod.html

You may need 3/4" crossover tube risers and 3/4" spacers for the alternator bracket. Ask LJI372. I gave him a file to make them that uses standard Ford crossover tube O-Rings. They have been on my car for over a year with no issues. Unfortunatley the Procharger is still on a shelf. :(

Unfortunately, the only obstacle I have is the universal intercooler.

Sorry, I've failed to mention the risers in my 1st post. I actually purchase those before the blower.

I took the bumper off and crash bar to install mine.
I welded brackets to mount the intercooler.

There you are lololol. How ya been bud? Zack referred me to this one. It has a two color option but the first time around, they sent the wrong color. So I ended up with both color options. (silver & black) Here's the black.

Very very reasonable [emoji33] . I was in shocked from what he quoted me for the brackets. And since we're on the subject, my next task is the piping mock up. Hopefully this little puzzle I created will help.

Looks about right for yours after some trimmings. I always tip Hans as I find it impossible that he can keep the doors open at those prices plus always going that extra mile. I think the fact that he's a one man band, it keeps all the work coming out of there quality driven. Yeah it's hard to get a hold of him, but that is what it is.

Looks like you are making some progress. Have you decided on a belt yet? I'm happy with the gates greenback, quiet and no signs of slippage.

Are you running the mass air meter before or after the blower?

I'm using a 3.6 pulley so per my research of the pulley size, I took noticed that most of the cobra mustang owners were using a 108" belt size. And just incase you're wondering, the 108" belt that I have is by "gates". Hopefully the belt will remain sufficient for the extra idler pulley that Zack recommended. Im going blow-thru so the maf should mount right before the intake.

I was contemplating going blowthru as well, mine is currently flown through with a bypass valve. I have the extra idler pulley, I'm using a 1080mm 6 rib belt. Sounds like you are right on track.

Why the 96-98 cobra cover instead of the marauder one?

Great question sir. In all honesty, for me it was about cost and efficiency. The procharger I purchased included the 96-98 cobra mounting bracket (free) and the cobra timing cover only cost me $70.00. Purchasing the marauder bracket would have cost me well over $380.00. Aside from cost, I've been studying centi threads for over a 1yr now and most centri owners converted to the cobra cover for the infamous belt slip issue. [emoji482]

Why the 96-98 cobra cover instead of the marauder one?

The 96 to 98 Cobra timing cover is a much better cover than the Marauder cover , it uses a 3 bolt tensioner that is much easier with belt changes , the belt wrap on the Cobra cover is perfect , it wraps around the entire balancer pulley , helping with belt slip.
