I'm looking for specifically a bumper cover and a grill for the car, I found a grill on eBay but I can't find the rear bumper cover any where, the air ride went out on mine so I took it to the dealership to get it fixed and shortly after that I noticed that the rear bumper was broke so any suggestions on where to look? I have a 2003 with the chrome letters in it

PM member Fordnut2..he had one recently, check the for sale section of parts. They are rare hard to come by and are not cheap. What exactly is wrong with yours, prolly cheaper to fix it than buy and paint. as they tend to go for $700+ You would be surprised how they can be fixed by a goodbody shop with the proper epoxy..not bondo. post a pic of damage. The letters you buy aftermarket, they are not factory

I'm aware that I'm going to be spending a little over a $1000 on a new cover but I'm actually trying to take care of this car, and I live in Wyoming so there isn't any real good body shops in this God forsaken state

This is what the cover looks like.

that's repairable. It will cost over $1000 for another cover...shipping if anyone will do it as it is not easy, plus paint will add to the $700+ for a used cover cost..There are no "new" ones left. There has to be a body shop. they wreck cars in Wyoming too. it' not rocket science, most cars to day have urethane covers so they have to know how to repair it. I would go get a few estimates anyway so you know. This is my opinion based on what I see here in the forum with others needing a rear cover.

Ummm. I'd give these guys a call, they should be able to plastic weld the bumper back together, they are in Casper

I've heard of them but I was unaware the did plastic weld I'll give them a call thanks, also I was wondering I was told putting an air intake on my car wouldn't be worth the money because I'd only get 10hp out of one is that true? Also I was curious if I wanted to put on a supercharger or a turbo which one would be better?

Whatever air intake you put on now will not work with a blower or turbo setup

I just googled Casper bumper repair and quite a few shops popped up

They might direct you who does all the repairs on bumpers, I'm sure all body shops farm out repairs

Here we have a shop and that's all they do, bumper welding... Fixed and prepped for paint 200.00 and less

There are not turbo kits for these cars. It's all fabricate yourself. There is only one supercharger kit and it's from ADTR.net and it's a centri style . Roots style is shop fit parts. Commonly called an eaton swap here. Are you able to undertake
Such search and find. His many mikes on your motor and what goals do you have in mind. A cold air intake us fine if you don't over oil the filter. You won't gain 10 hp.

I just ran to Fischer autobody and that makes the 2nd body shop that told me it's not fixable, because of how far the brake is on it, so the supercharged system is going to be my best bet for the car?

You didn't answer the questions I asked. You are new here, this is a small forum. Want to give you accurate info based on budget, goals, daily driver, track car etc. that's why we ask mileage , desired use, goals, budget. There is nothing cheAp for these cars

The car has 187,000 on it however before I bought the car the motor was rebuilt, it is a daily driver, i dive it all year; however here soon i will only drive it during the summer as for a budget I don't make much money however I am aware that these cars are not cheap to maintain

Supercharging is going to cost $4500-$6000 parts..not including install, tune, dyno, supporting mods.. brakes, rear suspension etc... at 187,000 suspension stuff is prolly worn. how many miles since rebuild and do you have receipts for such rebuild..stock motors are good for 425 hp range.

I had my rear air suspension worked on just recently, I don't have receipts for the rebuild no, I bout the car from my uncle so he may have the receipts for it how much HP does a supercharger put out and should I put new pistons and rings in that are made for a higher out put?

At least a family member rebuilt it. Rear suspension I'm talking control arms and watts link, sway bar and associated bushings. Front bell joints and bushings as well. Stock pistons are good for up to 450 hp. No guarantees of course but it's been proven here many times. Supercharging costs money and not a one day install . So plan your build and save $ to have another car to use and either buy parts and hold them or save and buy together. I would set aside at least $7500 and have a back up reserve of 10/15% if it was me. 400-450 hp is plenty if a DD. If you want more then it will cost more.

I didn't have that much done on the suspension so I'll set more aside for that, I have a few extra cars so I have transportation when I take this one of the road for an upgrade, I'll buy parts and hold them till I have all the parts I need to do the installation, is your car supercharged?

RubberCtyRauder

Yes it is, I don't drive mine daily or in winter, has 45,000 miles. I bought it already supercharged. Go to the power Adder section and read the posts and there is a sticky post regarding an eaton swap as one way to get supercharged

The bumper cover can be fixed. I had one repaired that was worse than that. If nobody local to you can fix it, it's probably not worth the 2-way shipping cost to get it repaired though. There are some aftermarket ones out there, but they don't have the recessed MARAUDER lettering. Best bet would be to find a used one that is the right color and in good enough shape to just bolt on and buff out minor scratches.
