Do other drivers seem scared or avoid you? My wife has a 1984 Lincoln Town car signature as a daily driver. It is her baby. She has told me stories of other drivers that seem to be afraid of her BIG car. When pulling into a parking spot, backing out. turning just about everything. It isn't just the younger drivers mostly middle/older age driver.
It seems like they forget that they drive a BIG car years ago. before they witched to their small " midsize " car. It seems that the idea of small, midsize and large etc today are different from 20+ years ago.

Can she be seen over the steering wheel? I'm always concerned when it looks like no ones driving.

Most are scared cause they think it's an unmarked cop car, especially black and silver colors.
During Marauderville 5 we had a large number (30+) of cars convoying on a 80 mile/2hr venture. Some of the members were LEOs and heard reports over their radios about us. Not that we were doing anything stupid but asking if something was going on.
There was a good amount of other cars behind me, I was towards the middle of the convoy.

I have a lot of people that turn suddenly when I get behind them. Or they go under the speed limit! :mad2:

Scared of my car? Yes, because it sounds like a mix of a 747 jet engine and a small war. LOL

I learned to drive in that same car at age 12. I could not see the lane in front of me only thing I saw was that hood!!

btw big cars make you a better driver and you respect brake space when travelling.

I learned this a couple of years ago with the full size ALTIMA they stuck me with after I had reserved a Taurus.

So true... can't get a decent sized car for less than $100.00 / day here. Feel so cramped everytime I get a rental car, it's maddening.

This happens all the time when out in my MM. I hate it because they'll be going at a reasonable pace then just slow down to under the limit. Also, when driving at night on the highway, I'll see cars come up really fast, then suddenly slow waaaaay down to pace me and make sure I'm not a LEO.
Doesn't happen with my Buick, but people think it's an old fart behind the wheel so go to a different lane and then get left at the light looking at my taillights when the light turns green.
