View Full Version : What's the fastest 1/4 mile stock motor marauder?

I was wondering this today. I did a search and came up with nothing. The timeslips page does not say if it's stock motor or not. So what do you stock motor guys with force induction run in the 1/4 mile? I know of a couple in the 11's if I remember right.

Setting a goal to concur before the new engine? [emoji4]

Run your 100 shot and coast on thru!

Stock block, stock internals with boost only, nothing forged or ported and polished is what he means. Read first post. Stock motor with forced induction is the question

You are correct. My error was referencing the thread title and not all of the information. I mean, duh, there is a NOS omogi.

Thank you for the correction.

I thought the same thing reading title. Stock motor as is. After reading Zack's reply, I re-read it too.

Yea i think I have a good chance on doing it. But 11.6 that Zack says he did will be hard to do. And with the 100 shot I'm sure that's all my car will do is coast after the first hit. BOOM!!

If it doesn't detonate, it will most likely survive

Don't let a silly goal ruin a lot of good parts

Is that car still running with the stock motor?

No it currently has a really worn out 03 Cobra engine.

I believe Steve aka TripleTransAm has the fastest stock MM @14.56.

Trilogy 93 went 12.20@113.XX , certainly not the quickest, but I've never seen anyone on stock motor, with a higher trap speed.

JET posted a 12.028 @ 117.01 on 23 October 2004 at Mason-Dixon Dragway in Maryland in his Trilogy #8 powered MM. This was the same night that CRUZTAKER got his best ever N/A time of 13.270 @ 103.21 and the Fat Bastid ran a bone stock 14.738 @ 95.37.

when I first got the MM my stock motor with the trilogy went 12.00@ 115 mph on pump gas on drag radials.

My car went 13.0@115mph. That's with a 2.2 60foot. So my car comes alive at the top end. My problem is I can build any boost at the line so I'm looking to get a big stall converter soon. That will help a lot.

Line lock and boost controller?
Prolly knock off with two seconds, with that trap speed!
How come the timeslip page does not reflect all these claims?

JET and the Fat Bastid are listed in the Timeslips section. They were very active back in 2004-2005 but not so much anymore. They occasionally pop back in from time to time. As I recall, JET only made 1-2 passes at Milan during MV3 in Detroit back in August 2005 and had transmission problems. Posts from 2014 says that he still has the car and lives in Richmond, VA.

Not sure what happened to CRUZTAKER's timeslip. I think that his N/A time was lost when he went Supercharged back in 2008-2009. He went inactive for several years and deleted much of his info and pics about 5-6 years ago. I have his time for the N/A run recorded in the CAM event activities in my signature link for the October 2004 meet at Mason-Dixon. Everyone there that night saw the Timeslip.

I'm on the timeslips page from years ago when I was just running nitrous. Now that I have the turbo on it I have ran it once and Im not happy with it. And I forgot about the timeslips page.

I wasn't directing my comments at you.
I was just thinking out loud about how much gets overlooked, forgotten over the years.
I wanna' be low elevens , but, 13.0 115 trap is nothing to sneeze at.
The last 13.00 second pass Trilogy 93 did was the last pass on the stock motor .
It was a hot lap after the 12.2 run, it grenaded @1000' coasting to a 90MPH trap.
A hundred thousand supercharged miles and lots and lots of smiles!
