4r70w out of 1993 Lincoln mark 8?

I have found a 4r70w that came out of a 1993? lincoln markv. Same motor as ours from what I have read? what Im wondering is will this trans be compatible with my 2003 Mercury Marauder. Thanks alot fam :D

If you need a different length tailshaft, you also need a different length output shaft, which requires complete disassembly of the trans.
