I've had my marauder for about 6 months. I'm 19, I've did the 4.10s in the rear, the jlt CAI & the tune. I'm looking for more power, would the Eaton swap or procharger be less? I am in college but i also work. I'm not looking too spent a lot of thousands. Also does the motor have to be rebuilt for this? Or should I just put a 100 shot off nos on it? Any help would be good.

For a low budget power adder go with the nitrous but I wouldn't do more than a 75shot. Make sure You get it retuned for it also. Any supercharger will be in the thousands range all said n done no matter what.

procharger doesn't make a kit for these cars any longer..it's either piece your own together for an eaton swap or vortech/novi swap or buy a complete vortech made for this car thru ADTR.net. Supercharging is going to cost you $5-8 grand depeonding on if you install of have installed or buy new parts or used parts..etc..

I'm near 3500 and that's without the install. Hopefully, I can stay under 500 bucks for the install.

$500 to install a supercharger? If you do it yourself yes, if someone else is doing it... no way in Hell!

Just do yourself a favor and don't supercharge it. Just a slippery slope afterwards

That's irrelevant. He stated he doesn't want to spend thousand, the advice I gave him is base off of that not supercharging it will avoid that. Supercharge Marauders are fun as hell driven no, been driven in some yes which is he reason I'm adding a supercharger as we speak.

Like the rest have said more power means more money. You might get lucky and find someone wanting to sell their eaton swap for 2500 to $4000.00. Plug and play new is very expensive around $6500.00 to start. If you do not dial up the power to far (say over 450RWHP) you can get by without any other mods to the engine or transmission. Good luck on your choices!

Especially if you want to do things right there's other stuff you need to do!.don't forget headers are $1000+. Juice it lightly

Cost of headers, cost of headers installed and dyno tune = $1500-2000
Even a single item such as a performance torque converter will cost over a grand, $700-1000 for the converter, $400-600 for install plus fluids and possible re-tune depending on stall.
If you want more power, SAVE YOUR MONEY and do things right the first time.

all depends on your end goal and most importantly your budget
but that being said there are people from both sides, ones that build the N/A engine, then supercharge later....and than you have people like myself who supercharge the stock engine, then will build it later down the line if need be.

What he said.
Mine costs right around $10,600 with all options. Keep in mind that is only the blower and associated parts.
Just add engine, fuel, exhaust, suspension, trans, and rear.
I've owned mine for 11 1/2 years so I can justify splurging since I haven't had a car payment since 2009. If your not wanting to spend a couple of thousand I would seriously think smaller plans because you really wouldn't like when the added stress breaks things.
These cars cost a fortune to mod.
