The Autometer 4327 is an electrical gauge.
Remove the old sender, solder on a ring terminal, install new sender and connect the terminal.
Remove old gauge.
Install new gauge and connect the wires. I don't remember the colors, I can check the electrical manual when I get home.
BTW.... I'd get the Autometer voltmeter also as the difference between the stock and aftermarket gauges will be apparent once you turn on the lights.
BTW (2).... I'd install green LED bulbs in the new gauges(s). You'll see why once you look at the top of the old gauge(s).

Already have green LEDs
That's my next question do you splice new gauge wiring into stock harness what color to what

I cut the wires going to the old gauges after the connector and soldered the new gauges wires to the wires in the connectors so you could still disconnect the gauges to remove the pod when necessary.
I'll get you the colors when I get home this evening.

No adapter needed. Just some Teflon tape and install. Ford made the stock one a dummy gauge because you'll notice the real gauge sweep constantly. It should be about 25psi at idle when warm and around 75psi when cruising.

Does anyone do any work on cars without consulting the internet first?
Its like doing a crossword puzzle with the answer sheet right next to it.
