Stock Muffler Rattle ?

Anyone ever notice or hear stock mufflers rattle inside ?

Had mine on the rack today running and mufflers had a rattle to them

yes weights still there

reminds you of a convertor rattle when inside are broke loose

I guess the innards could be loose but not likely??:shake:

I know from experience that a FORD exhaust systems rattle bad at and just above idle without the dampers!!:argue::mad2:

Any chance a cat has come apart and pieces of the ceramic strata made their way into the muffler??:confused:

Hit the muffler with a rubber hammer and see what it sounds like??:confused:

rear cats were removed when I got it , will try that , you can even here it rattle and the back of the car thru tail pipes

done it had ones missing in front of Mufflers replaced them weeks ago , its a Internal deep muffler rattle

i've noticed the same sound lately, seems like the right side

Suppose a tack weld on a baffle popped. Not much you can do about it other than replace it.
