Joe,
What size tires do you run on the front of your fast car?
I think mine might be too small...

John,
Your car looks good .Now there are 3 MM,s with chutes. For front tires I am using Hoosier front runners,26x4.5x15 mounted on Race Star Industries rims.Is it possible you could make a trip east to Lebanon dragway to get the three fastest marauders together?

They do look a little small. Or is it just because the front end looks a little high? What size are your front tires?

They are 26" tires. I went looking and did find some front runners that were 27.5" last night, but they were not radials. I have a set of street tires (radial) and a set of race tires for the car, but finding 27-28 inch radials for a 4.5" rim is hard.

I'm sure they won't stay in the air long... Haha.

When I needed skinnies, I found the 27"+ tall tires, in radial, in VW bug forum.

I saw MH, ET, Hoosier had some 27 and 28" tall skinny's..some were for 15 or 16 inch rims and some had 17" rim size.

These are all bias-ply tires.

M & H had one or two radial ones, but might not be in your rim size..one was marked as "new" 28" x 4.5 x17

I did find that Mickey Thompson makes a 28" radial for the 15x4.5 rim. The tread pattern doesn't match my Hooser Pro Street radials, but it is an option. I'm going to email Hoosier to find out if this is something they are considering...
