Hard times. Recently got laid off and just this weekend I blew a spark plug and need a helicoil or timesert done. Beginning of the month and bills don't wait when you have a family. So I figured I'll part it and keep the engine Trans and computer and start a project later on. (unless someone offers something for it)

i tried calling, no answer. he said he was at work and couldn't talk but could text.

next text expains he's laid off and bills are due (i think he's a hillary voter, doesn't remember his own story)

over twenty texts back and forth over why selling etc.

seller only wants friends and family money.

i agreed to add 3% to cover fees, he didn't like that idea.

i asked about shipping he says he has a family member at fed ex and gets a huge discount on shipping.

then he says he needs to access the money today that is why friends and family. he suggests shipping me the items for 50% of the funds as friends and family and pay the other 50% upon receipt of package.


i went on a limb and told him when he is at fed ex to shoot me a pic while there with the shipping label and i would make payment. this went on until after midnight.

this morning i get a pm from another member telling me he will sell them one of the items i am supposed to be buying but he needed the money sent up front as friends and family. oh, and he needs it that way so he can access the funds because he needs the money to pay for shipping. wtf

i text him this morning and crickets........

at this point i am backing out.

I'm not throwing insults at anyone. It's the negativity I'm talking about. If you can't trust a community where we are all connected by one thing then What's the point? A post written about me that makes me look like a scammer isn't cool. I've sold parts here and haven't had a problem until now. If a buyer doesn't like my terms then he/she is free to not buy. That's doesn't mean that you have to try and make me look bad so others won't buy from me. That's wrong. You can't make a right wrong just because of someone's opinion. After hearing a few videos of the mufflers on a crown vic, i deceided not to go that route. Contacted seller yesturday morning and he got back to me. I asked for a refund and he said he will have to wait to see if wife shipped out and if not he will refund at night. He said he was working??????

Well, if your putting projectors in lights, then aftermarket is fine, if your using a halogen bulb, then they scatter light.

YOU said there was no issue using my OE assemblies, I could have bought DEPOT aftermarket assemblies, instead I bought a OE set of assemblies, so I could put my car back on the road and back together.

I am quite sure that because those lights were mine, that made them more annoying, or maybe it was because you were prompted to get them done, that made them annoying.

Possibly you should go get that box of Kleenex that you referenced that I needed, I see your business taking off with that attitude.

The complaint was that I never got said assemblies, not about the quality of the work, the aim of the lights, etc. It was because they were never delivered.

You could have sorted it out by a phone call, not some text saying what you thought I wanted to hear, then send the guy who is sitting right next to me a text saying what you just told me was never going to happen. Honesty, that's what works for me, that's all it would have taken.

No worries if they work, don't work, they will never go in my car, I'm not taking it apart again to install them, they will either be wheel chocks, raffled, given away, sold for $8, but they won't be in my car.

Besides, I thought you were done with this 8 or so posts back? You can contact me anytime, I have no problems with anyone, I am open and honest, I can take criticism or praise equally, you can never correct a problem if no one tells you that there is one.
