Actually I think the car looks pretty good. The paint is beautiful. The interior is done very well except for the headliner. Car sounds good. It is one of the more tasteful jobs done unlike the "orange-copper" one in the other video. Some would say that all the aftermarket pieces (superchargers, exhaust, widen wheels, etc.) ruin these limit edition cars. I say who am I to judge. To each their own.

I'm not a fan of ghetto makeovers but the Kandy brandywine one is pretty nicely done besides the wheels and hood. Interior looks better all light in my opinion than the factory light flint setup which looks like they just threw seats in from another car. If it had twenty inch chrome wheels that looked like the factories, I think it would have looked pretty cool. best hood marauder I have seen so far as most are just stupid. The guy with the orange one is a different story entirely.. I'm sure most hate them both But hey posts like these are for opinions either way. Would I do it to any of mine? Hell no but but this is the hood version of a kustom. this is essentially what they did back way back when to almost new cars but with better taste. would George Barris approve? I would say probably not.

I say the more guys that do this to their cars the more valuable ours become. 1. There will be fewer original cars on the market. 2. Maybe they beome more desirable to urbanites wanting to do the same transformations as seen above.

Someone threw light colored seats into a dark grey interior.

Would you really welcome them, let us be real here. I understood what they were saying fine, I wouldn't do anything like that to any of my cars present or future simply because I'm into speed and hate standing out. But I'll respect anything that was done right and most of those cars were done right, may not be to my or your taste but that is why it's "their" car.

Why wouldn't we welcome a fellow Marauder owner here? I would. I'd still think their style choice is weird, but they'd be welcome.

We can have different styles, even make fun of each other with out it always turning into hate. I'm sure racism is running through some people's minds because this is a group of black guys that pretty much meet the standard for inner city guys. It's not, at lease it isn't to me. I openly make fun of people (ALL people) I think are being stupid, but I don't freak out when others think I'm being stupid... I think the ease at which people are offended, and the violence that people often respond with, needs to come under control. It's not always hate. Most often it's just people being different.

I think these big city guys have piss poor taste in wheels, and need to learn to speak so they can be understood, but I'm sure to them I'm a redneck bumpkin that sounds like a hick. I still like my car as much as they like theirs.

As long as nobody attacks the good Lord that made me, my family he gave me, or my country I served for so long, we can get along.

I would say it's no different than understanding someone who lives out of the city in Alabama they could any race it's just how that some in that area speak.

It's called "Peer Pressure". These guys do what their friends have done to their cars. In the "Hood" these are the kind of cars that are excepted. If you want to be noticed in these areas you have to do these kind of things to your cars. It's what's in the videos. It's also called "One Upping the Next Guy". It shows that I spent more than you did on yours. It's the same way with fashion and everything else. Back in the day I'm sure some of you guys had "Mullet" haircuts. Now we look back and see how funny that was. Every group through the years have done their own thing.

Key word "pronunciation". Although they are in a different location and social class than I am, (rural midwest) these guys have made up words and are using words to mean different things. Yes, they have an accent, but they are also speaking a completely different inner city dialect that is very hard for a country boy to understand... Hell, I kinda think it's funny and entertaining, but I know that they are just doing what they have learned.
