Hi everyone. This may be annoying to some of you but since I feel that the people on here know more than anyone else about these cars, the Input here is valued and respected. As of right now I'm not looking to sell my car but if things went that way in the future ( which is a possibility but I hope not) I just want to know what's fair money to ask. It's an 03 with lots of mods and 162k . 31 Spline axles, 4.30s cai, underdrive pullies. runs really strong. The interior is in great shape for the miles but console lid needs to be redone. The bad is it has failing roof paint with rust in the flaking spots. The hood is the same but I put a black cv hood on it for now. The left doors have rust in the bottoms but again I have rust free black doors for it . Left rear quarter is dented and the whole car needs to be painted pretty much. this is not a for sale post just trying to get opinions on value so hopefully I'm posting in the right section and the right way. I'll post pics up. Don't worry guys I won't take it to heart if you tear it apart, it's so much fun to drive the way it is because I do not have to worry about another scratch. Thanks guys. David.

That seems reasonable to me, I paid $4750 for one with 150k. Miles. It's bone stock however, I think the mods scare some people where as others will pay more for them.

I better not say or I'll get accused of insinuating you want to clone a Crown Vic

I'll bite. Let me start off with a statement that really has a impact on the value of higher mileage marauders
"It's not worth much whole unless you part it out". This comment definitely holds its own until the flood of parts cars slows down and people hold on to something worth fixing
I have owned over 100 cars before I was 30. I'm not rich I just love muscle cars, if it was a deal I bought it. Just like Jerry buying OK hoarding MM parts, buy now and wait 10 years and double your money plus
I don't want to say that your car is worth less than what Zack said, your car has a few rough spots that need fixing before you try and sell it/ assess a true value of it. I've found over the years that having friends with common interests locally generates more money because of demand for said type of vehicle
Find some friends locally that are true car guys/gals and get it looking a little sweeter and you may be surprised
I've put almost 10k on my marauder I bought last June from 8uwith6s wife, I had my mom drive back from Miami in it, now she wants it????? I don't get it, mom has always hated every car I've had, maybe it just takes time for someone else to fall for a car once they are surrounded by it
Or just make it your daily beater, it doesn't owe you much right? Beat on it and buy a nicer one:)

It's worth as much as you're willing to sell it for, and as much as someone is wiling to pay. That said, don't give it away. Better to invest in some TLC and get it back if you find the right buyer.

Thanks Bryan. Couldn't have asked for a better answer to the question considering condition of the vehicle and mileage. I felt like it was about a 4K car the way it sat. Even if I could get more if I parted it I wouldn't , as I hate to see a limited production car bite the dust for that reason alone when it runs and drives well unless it's a complete rot Box. thankfully it's not my daily I bought it last July and only put 2k miles on it. But hell yeah I do beat on it and smile every time it goes sideways!

Thanks chi Town great advice. I am the type that the longer I have a vehicle, the better and cleaner it gets.. This poor car was so neglected when I got it from the original owner it was sad. hadn't run in two years and no overdrive with dog hair everywhere inside and under a tree . I have been an auto body tech and half decent mechanic for years so thankfully I have the skillset to fix her up without blowing stupid amounts of money. But my problem is when I start something it turns into taking the whole car apart ha ha. I'm sure you guys know How that goes .

Agree with all... Whatever some one will give you for it. We love these cars!
With high miles, paint issues, and some damage, it is a hard sell UNTIL you find a guy who can get the bodywork and paint done well and inexpensively, and has a 4.6 4V motor to spare. IF you think you MIGHT HAVE TO SELL IT, better to list it now for High "X" and turn down lower offers, than to NEED to sell it and end up getting half.
Example, list for $6,000 and have the option to turn down offers of $4,750 untill needed. Rather than list for a needed $4,500 and only get offers for $3,500.

thank you 1marauder. this thread is giving me exactly the advice and direction I was hoping for. I hope I do NOT have to sell it but if I do I'll have to buy a nicer one when finances allow so I can stay connected with a great bunch of helpful people.. I have owned many cars over the years and I have to say this one is an absolute riot to drive and since I'm not a big sports car type of person, the perfect balance of room and power with pretty great handling for the size of car.. I think it's funny that most around here don't even know what it is they say they thought crown Vic and I'm like OK really? anyway thank you to all who answer, I appreciate the great input ! Dave in ri.

I paid $4900 for mine with similar mileage, but with no body issues. Didn't have the rear end mods, but had a trans tune and was meticulously maintained. Maybe I got a smoking deal?
