Had the chance over the last week to get SteveGerard's new engine installed, just waiting on some new rotors, a coolant pump for the heat exchanger, and a couple of other minor parts and she'll be ready to go!
Last weekend we put together a plan to help out PapaDoe (Kyle) get his engine replaced, and purchased an engine from Robronnie5 (Rodney). So we took off from Michigan Sunday morning at 5a.m., dropped the trailer at Kyle's in Indy, took off and went to South Carolina to grab the engine from Rodney, and then go back to Indy to grab my trailer and Kyle's car. The only issue was North of Indy I hit something along the lines of a hole the size of Lake Michigan with the right side of my trailer... took out both tires, rims and bent the axles...:bigcry: needless to say it was a long night! Great friends came to my rescue, limped it home. Big thing was no damage to Kyle's car or my truck...So right now we are 2000 miles down in 48 hours, the engine is on its way out, the new one is sitting here waiting to go back in, all in time to drive it back to him on the way to Louisville!

Oh, and Kyle's engine is out, the new one is being prepped first thing in the a.m. and should be in tomorrow for start up Thursday.
