Getting all 4 tires replaced. The front will be stock size but the rear are 255s instead of 245s. Do I need a rear alignment along with the front end alignment?

One shop said it's standard to align the rear but they wouldn't align the rear because I got larger tires and they wouldn't have the alignment specs? Does that make sense?

Thanks.

Doesn't make sense because there is no adjustments to be made in the rear. Everything is "fixed".

That's what I though I read in the past on this forum, just couldn't find where to make sure. Front end alignment it is! Thanks FBM!

If they think they can align a solid rear axle go... no run to a competent shop.

The alignment setup is the same as a 4 wheel alignment, the heads need mounted to the rear wheels for reference points. But you cannot align a solid rear axle... Unless....... You have adjustable rear control arms, but those aren't OE, so it doesn't apply in this case.
