Wasn't the builder going to dyno this before Motown snatched it up? He was measuring all the incremental changes. As a matter of fact, I can't remember the builder doing anything to the motor (COPS, plugs, etc.).

One option with our V-shaped motors is that a turbo can be placed closer to each cylinder bank so the tubes are shortened, thus more efficiency and less turbo lag.

Oh I completely understand why, I don't agree with it, but I can see why. I wish I did more on my own cars but time, knowledge, priorities etc. have me paying folks to do more to my car than I will ever do myself. Folks rightfully take a lot of pride in knowing "I did this" and that's great but not everyone has their knowledge, talent or time. My extra time is spent with my kids not working on the car. I enjoy the cars with my kids not in spite of them.

I hope one day I'm able to build my own car, be it a cobra kit car, a modern day pro-tourer or even a replica Brady Bunch Bus, who knows. But it will be when I'm older, hopefully I'll have my health and the extra funds to do it. College tuition for my kids is hard enough.

In the meantime I will never begrudge someone who can buy a car as they want it or pay someone to create it - good for them. Most times, in the long run, its cheaper to buy someone else's project. For many the process is the enjoyment. You know how many kit cars get sold the year after they are completed - a lot.

The numbers are finally in!!!!!!!!!!! The Turbo Coyote made 703RWHP (E85) on a mere 14PSI ,578 on 93 octane , ended up going with a Precision Turbo76MM/75AR Ball bearing turbo , and the difference is night , and day!

A few other changes were made Dual Walbro 465 pumps , Fragola PTFE lines , and fittings for E85 compatibility , Circle D 3500K triple disc , Ford Racing 331 gears , Ford 31 spline axles , Aurburn Pro posi , Tail BOV , and Waste gate.

Well dam, What injectors do you have in there, also what has been done to the trans besides the converter. REALLY looking into a 6r80, but they haven't been abused/tested with a car that weighs as much as our cars

ID 1000 injectors , the trans is a 6R80 other than the converter it needs nothing!well maybe a deep Mag-Hytec trans pan , Lidio is pushing nearly 1,000 RWHP thru a heavy mustang with no issues , this is a true brute of a trans.

I remember people saying you needed clutches in a 6R80/ect when I was doing that build.....but my thought process was all these F150 5.0L Supercharged ones, and Hellion Turbo 5.0L guys were doing nothing to theirs and having no issues whatsoever.....so logic stood to reason why should I mess with it when I went 6R80 on that build.

I'm into them here and there as part of my normal daytime job as a Ford Service Tech, and indeed they are very brutal internally. 1k HP is not unheard of in all stock form.

I'm very excited to see results on this finally, thanks for keeping us updated!

This is pretty much why I asked, lots of people saying exactly what you said but I thought maybe their was a slight difference between the F150 and the Mustang 6r80. I'm happy to hear a stock F150 can make that much, currently looking at one for under $600.

Probably the best mod dollars wise simply because of how much hp they can take in stock form unlike the 4r70w which needs to built to live at the power level MoTown is making. All in all for under $3000 (that's including the trans if you shop right, controller and driveshaft) you get a trans that pretty much a monster in stock form and a 6 speed sounds like an amazing deal for us when you think about it.
