I wouldn't admit it. Limp it to a Waffle House parking lot, break out tools and duct tape, grab a waffle, keep moving forward. [emoji6]

Apparently you can't get it out without having headlights... one hell of a shop.

Mine started thoughing P0131, P0171, P0174, last weekend. So I cleaned the Mass Air, and checked for a vacuum leak and changed the PVC hose. It was questionable. It seems to through it after I've run it and got it warmed up and then restart it. For instance going to the store and back. It would though them when you started it back up at the store. Anyway we'll see if I make it.

I know I'm new to this forum and not a mm owner yet, but if anyone is heading I-75 south in Ohio I'm in the Dayton Ohio area at the 70 75 interchange and if you're having troubles let me know.

Actually it is one hell of a shop. I store my car there over the winter.

But I had to put the grill and marker lights back in after reinstalling OE head lamp assemblies.

Where's your Marauder..... Oh wait......

Been there done that. Newly acquired 3 piece sprocket and secondary tensioner fished out of the oil pan..

After that I fixed the five new Manley bent valves that caused.

I can't tell if any valves are bent, there are zero witness marks on any of the pistons.

That sounds promising. I boroscoped mine and saw some light scuffing on all four, and maybe a tiny tiny indent on one of them. Enough to know I didn't even have to bother doing a compression test. With only 3/4 days till that years Louisville trip I yanked the head, header and all and got right to work. Test drove the following day. Quick fix but sucked regardless.

Hope the best for you.

That answer I do not have, other than big cams and corresponding springs. There are not a plethora of options for secondary cam gears, Bob had an updated sprocket that broke, I'm thinking it was an attempted alien abduction.

Besides....... Mines a DTR, how much power could one of the slowest cars known to mankind make?

BTW, those were M/T 305/45 ET streets that left a couple hundred feet of rubber, I thought they were supposed to be sticky?

Nope. My **** up from rushing. I forgot the intake gear spacers. Oops.

And to think it lasted over six hours of driving abuse and multiple runs on the dyno before it gave up the ghost one mile from home.. And yes, I limped it that last mile with no left side intake cam spinning and I was shooting raw fuel out the tail pipe. Parked it and went to bed.

If only FORD had developed the 435 HP 5.0L Coyote back in 2003.

We wouldn't have to toil, and waste TONS of money on these fragile 4.6L turds....:shake:

Without a lot of forged parts AND a blower these 4.6L modular motors are a waste of time.

I'm still thinking that a BOSS 351 block 427 stroker pushrod engine is the way to go.

The valve covers don't look as sexy, but 550+ HP N/A....all the time, for a long time sounds like a deal right about now.

I do wonder. Lots of people have broken these engines. In some cases the cause may have been obvious and not design-related.

But it does seem that many of these engines start knocking in the mid 100K mile range. I keep thinking about a Coyote replacement, but I just don't know that I have the time for that sort of undertaking.

I got a call yesterday that we had a Marauder broke down about 15 miles from the hotel. Big thanks to Justbob for letting me grab his trailer to go pick them up. It was a Trilogy car and the main power wire between the alternator and the battery grounded itself and fried into two pieces. We were just glad it didn't catch on fire!

You guys are great man!!!!!

The Marauder community is absoluty the best!

I can't begin to express my thanks to Russ, Baconbit, Cdub, Motown, Black Terror, Justbob
Zach, Mike, Eric, and GrandaddyMerc for rescuing and repairing my car. These friends went above and beyond the call of duty to help and at all times with a smile on their faces. Each
of them took time away from the fun activities at hand to help.

Again, many thanks to all. Can't wait to see everyone again next year!

Marauder on!
