Warranty? Was it sprayed or dipped? How much was your shipping? Did they repair your wheels?

Hard chrome on aluminum wheels is bad ju-ju, the chrome expands/contracts at a different rate than the aluminum, then it begins to peel/flake off. Best bet on OE wheels is PVD, it'll last almost forever.

I know many on here like to use "abbreviations", but please consider the less lingo gifted of us and tell us what you are talking about. "COT" and other typical short-hand makes for difficult reading and comprehension.

The website doesn't list a polished aluminum being available (like our MM wheels).
The wheel in the photo is in shadow - can't tell what kind of finish it has!

Maybe I should have made it simple
The picture I posted is lady Hawks car, it has PVD treatment to the wheels
It's more of a black chrome, but the process is PVD
There were a few cars at the meet that had it done. They look great in person

Wish I would have looked around more! I've been wanting to see some examples. Oops.

They don't list polished aluminum because they coat wheels, not polish and clear coat them. Which brings up another thing, this thread is about chroming wheels, not polishing them......

"like" being a key word here ... I was referring to a polished aluminum look. The website descriptions of their options is poorly written and confusing :shake:

Maybe I should have made it simple and not posted...... Since ordinary terms and descriptions are hard to comprehend for some board users.

Lots of options, descriptions and acronyms on this site, maybe call them and ask they spell it out?
