The springs are Manley high performance/high lift.The cam has a 742 lift.Taking the engine to the builder tomorrow to try to find out what happened.

I was wondering about that. Sounds like coil bind would be a problem with that much lift. My .475 lift won't work with stock springs, and the beehive springs are only good to about .500

I am going by the numbers stamped in the cam shaft which are L742 EXH664.I will check this out with Bullet cams .
