So there I was, doing my usual evening commute, the slow part where Crosstown Highway's left lane becomes a parking lot waiting for entrance to the diabolical 35W "crosstown commons." Those of you familiar with the Twin Cities can feel my pain.

Funny thing, in my red Marauder, few people seem to want to cut in in front of me. In fact, I saw out of my side view mirror (properly adjusted, per: http://www.cartalk.com/content/features/mirrors/step1.html) a Pontiac Firebird Trans Am make a rather sudden slow down about four car lengths back and wait for almost a mile until someone finally relented and let him in.

He must have thought I was driving a Minnesota State Patrol car, whose background color is amazing close to DTR.

Also, my kid's car seats have bright red handles on the top, might look like cop lights to the average Trans Am jockey......
