I installed a new Arnott compressor about 2 years ago. Been working fine until now. Compressor won't come on and car is sitting real low and ride real bouncy. The trunk switch is turned on so not sure what the issue is. The pump should last longer than 2 years, shouldn't it? When I changed it out, I drilled drain holes in the tray so it wouldn't burn out on me again.
I recently had the car up in the air and might not have turned off the trunk switch. Could that have caused an issue? Not sure what my next steps should be. Suggestions please, I'm so confused...:help::(

check ride height sensor on watts link more towards driver side, that it is attached.

ok, I just checked and sensor is attached. Air bags look like they still have some air in them. Hoping the bags not leaking. Anything else?

Check the #16 (15A) fuse in the passenger compartment fuse panel.
Check #114 (30A) fuse, #115 (50A) fuse, and #303 relay in the power distribution box under the hood.
I suspect the relay.
BTW.... all the above info is in the owners manual.

ok, I checked each of the fuses and the relay. I swapped each of them with another fuse and relay from a different position, same amp. They are all good.
Would that mean the pump is likely culprit?

Or the connection to the pump. See if you have juice there.

ok I just pulled out the compressor. I hadn't wanted to do this first because I thought, it can't be.
But the pump had a bunch of caked on white corrosion, kind of in the middle, along where it mates up to the electrical end.
I might try cleaning it up and throwing it back on to see what happens. I don't get why its all corroded like that. Maybe a little spilled washer fluid. Is that all it would take? There was no standing fluid in the tray. I don't get this one.
EDIT: No saving this one. Time for new pump. The casing was cracked somehow, corroded and died. Bogus :shake:

Like any aftermarket part, you're lucky if it lasts beyond the warranty.

That manufacturers site says they have a lifetime warranty
Where did you buy it?

I found my old receipt. I actually got it 4 years ago. Time sure does fly. I guess I shouldn't complain too much. But I'm still going to see if there's any "limited" lifetime warranty left on it.
I'm just glad I was able to inflate the bags so I can drive it until new one comes.
