Celebrity in The House

This week we got a call to work on football star Cam Newton's 1970 Olds 442 which would not crank and run. We brought the car to my home shop and installed a new FAST box, distributor, and ignition components plus a few other goodies This puppy makes some erious power!!

Tell him I'd like the extra parts he took off the car just in case he doesn't want them anymore (Trim pieces, wheel well moldings, emblems etc.)

Beautiful car! Awesome stance!! The ONLY thing I would critique is lack of any sidewall. LOVE LOVE LOVE the overall tire/wheel total diameter though, I'd just trade an inch or two in wheel in favor for rubber.

Did he have to stretch the wheel wells any? It reminds me of the restomod olds on Muscle Car I saw a couple of years ago. I never seen it finished, but it was catching my eye in the direction it was heading!

good and valid point. Went back and looked at photo, and visually it could use an inch+ more rubber. And in that big of a car, it might help the ride!

love the ghost flames too, is the interior custom, those are not 1970 seats. Would love to see the interior. Not many real 442 convertibles around anymore, not many produced originally. (plenty of Cutlii converts made)

What I'd like to know is what the turning radius is. I have fender rub with 15 inch 245/60s on the front. This car has to start turning two blocks away.
