I would first like to thank Courtmarshall for an incredible experience so far while purchasing my next MM.

As most of you know, I first started out with a 03 DPB MM in early 2005. I had that for just over 2 years. It has bounced around a bit but, luckily it resides at a current member’s house over in Texas. My job at the time put me in the situation where I had to trade it for a truck. I just missed buying it back. I really loved the DPB.

So. I was Marauderless for a short time and bought a 04 BLK sight unseen from a dealership in Ohio late 07. I drove it back to Florida where it stayed with me and got boosted in 2012. Priorities came up and I needed money to send my kids to school. Reluctantly, the toy had to go in 2013. A member here bought it from Alabama.

Ever since then, I have been trying to find a MM that was in a price range that I could make work out. I nearly missed a few great opportunities this year. Of course, patience is a virtue and what is meant to be, is meant to be.

I had been eyeing the listing that Courtmarshall had posted 3 Marauders for 30K http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=99776 The 04 boosted with roof was almost exactly the same as my previously owned 04 MM. This one has a sun roof ( which I prefer ). When time went by and Courtmarshall decided to do a split up price, I was paying even more attention to it. The Blk 04 boosted was still just a bit out of what I could manage for price. Then suddenly, one day he lowered the prices on all of them and it was right where I needed it to be.

We exchanged PM's and phone numbers and made the deal a few weeks ago. To my surprise, the car wasn't ready to be pick up yet. He said that he needed to make it right for the next owner and that the paint on the roof, trunk and hood were less than desirable. It was getting painted at the body shop right now. I couldn't believe what he was saying it was a shocker and a blessing all at once. The car had a few other rough spots on the right rear quarter and the right rear door (famous bad black MM paint issue). We made a deal with the body shop, Orange Auto Body 164 E Main St. in Orange Mass. ( Steve owner, what a standup guy ) for me to pay a bit extra to get those areas fixed while the paint was in the sprayer. As you can see, she'll be ready for local car shows and a comfortable retirement here in Florida.

And yet another turn for the better from courtmarshall, while finding out more about the car during the next few weeks, I find out that is has a complete newly rebuilt motor with about 10K on it accompanying new NOVI/ Paxton mix hair dryer on it. And if that wasn't enough, he is also throwing in the running numbers match MM motor that came out of it. And if you still think that's enough...Nope.. in the delivery/extra paint deal, came a set of black powder coated MM rims and some goodies in the trunk (TBD I haven't got the car yet delivered to me yet). Truly a blessing. I'm so glad that this deal came together and that I was patient to wait for the right MM to come my way. So now I wait as the car makes the trip south on 95 today and tomorrow to be delivered.

This was a total blind buy for me. Court and I talked (we have a connection as we are both in the Army) and I can tell you. If anyone is in the market for a boosted MM, you'd better pick the SB that is left. You will not be disappointed in the complete and utter professionalism and respect for people that Court has.

In closing, (sorry for the long read) I am thankful that Court and I crossed paths. My buyer experience has been second to none in my life. Thank you Court :bows:. I can't imagine me ever having a better experience than this. I’m honored to be the new caretaker MM#3 for me. It will be enjoyed and pampered as it deserves to be.

Tomorrow the waiting will be over. It will arrive at my house. More to follow.

I can also vouch that Court is a stand-up guy! I bought the 03 300A he had for sale at a great price! I also noticed the SB he has for sale and if anyone is looking for a nice one with a Trilogy, then definitely contact Court!

I met him locally to sell a leather MM jacket years ago. He is a smart, helpful guy.
I could tell by the ad, and meeting him, the prices and extras would be deals.
He needs out, loved these cars, and had aquired mucho stuff
congrats!

Got to meet up with Court today. Did the paperwork and exchanged $$ for the car. Drove it home later in the day. So great to get behind the wheel of a MM again.

Now the work will begin to get her clean up.

Some of the things I've done so far.

1. Cleaned at least 10 pounds of dirt from it. Took apart most of the interior lots of loose change. Even found a manly raincoat (not used) under the front seat. Expiration date of 2011 so it was in-op.

2. Took another 15lbs of wire and electrical nonsense out. It had an aftermarket alarm and remote start that was inop. Previously, there was a boomin system in it with tv's in the head rest etc. ALL of the wire was left in it when it was removed.

So wonder the car even ran with HACK wire job in it. The guy spliced into every and all hot wires nearby regardless of what it was to. One was even sliced into the fuel pump

Changed all the fluids with the help of Bigcars4ever the other night ( thank you Ron :bows:) and am one step closer to road worthiness. New battery and lug nuts. More stuff to do this weekend, can't wait.
