Can someone give me some information??
When I used to start my MM I would here the compressor going on and when I parked the car I would here it bleed off. But now I really don't here anything happening.
Is this normal or do I have a problem? I installed a trunk organizer and a full size spare. Could this be a problem...to much weight??
Any help will be appriciated.

Haven't heard anything from my 03. Then again between Bristol and the old covered Darlington grandstands and Jimi Hendrix I don't hear to good. If it seams to be working don't worry about it.

Mrsteamrope's 04's seems to be a little louder than my 03. Once in a while it makes more of a bang than a clunk when it dissengages.

If the car appears to be at the correct level and the air suspension warning lamp is not on, then the suspension is operating as designed. Just be sure the air suspension warning lamp "proves out" when you turn the key on to be sure it's working.

Since you were in the trunk, check the switch for the air suspension.
You may have touched it inadvertantly.

Little off-topic, but . . .
Does anyone know if there's away to "level" the two airbags? My driver's side is always 0.5" lower than my passenger's side!

I called my dealer about this issue, he told me that if my air suspension warning light is not on (and its not) don't worry about it. Being that I installed a full size spare, the extra weight may have put the car at its normal height.
I measured the rear when it was sitting over night in the garage and it is about 29".

Then, you are fine. In/for another thread yesterday...I measured mine which has been lowered 3/4 of an inch due to installation of the Eibachs and my "at rest" measurements from the ground/center of the tire-wheel to the lip of the rear wheel-well was 28 1/4".

Thanks guys...I guess I have nothing to worry about. I will keep an eye on it anyway.

Same thing here. The air suspension compressor was really noticeable when I would start the car. I could also check the rear view mirror against a fixed object and notice the "lift". Recently, I can't hear a thing. The "Air Susp" light just flickers on for about 1/4 second then goes off. Had to do it several times, 'cause the light isn't even on long enough to read the words. The switch in the trunk is in the "On" position.
P.S. I have had the trunk organizer in there since day 1. So, the load has not changed at all.

Ya know, with my exhaust system I don't hear the compressor at all anymore!
