Marauder Night at Summit Motorsports Park

Let's have a Marauder drag racing night at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, OH **Wednesday JULY 6th** It's only $9 to race and gates open at 5pm with trials starting at 5:30pm. Check out their website for all the info & directions. It's only about an hour west of Cleveland. Let's get some Marauders together and have fun!! :banana2:

I'm about 3.5 hours away in pittsburgh, I looked on their website and saw that the big ford event is that weekend. Unless something crazy happens I will be attending the weekend show with my marauder if it is ready.

Summit ford show is held at the store not the track unless the track is having an event. My car is down at the moment, hoping to have it up by then and i will go if weather good

My mistake, the retail store has a all ford car show, but that is in june. That's what I was thinking about . The store us in tallmadge/ Akron Ohio

This is at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, OH which used to be Norwalk Raceway! (I actually still call it Norwalk Drag Strip!) And yes, the store is a separate entity in Tallmadge, OH. I have a few who are interested from the Motorcity Marauders, so I am really looking forward to having a nice Marauder crowd! :)

The track only charges $ 9.00 to race? In New Jersey, the standard price is $ 30.00 ........ and because of the number of racers, you may only get three passes.

I may move to Ohio just to stretch my retirement pay!

When we had a track here it was 10 to watch 20 to race

Guess that's why we don't have it anymore

We were actually thinking of coming up for the weekend event. The Fun Ford reloaded show. If a bunch of Marauder brethren were gonna be there. Its only $1 to race in that!

Have you considered Thompson Raceway off I90E? TRP has gone downhill over the past few years. Getting through staging takes forever and track prep has been atrocious. I won't run my car there anymore despite the short 20-minute drive for me.
Can't wait for D42 to finish their renovations!!!

So the rain did not stop some of us. I had the chance to meet Ken ,super nice guy. watched some drag races and told car stories. Great time wish more could have made it.

Like Clayton said, No rain, it was a beautiful night at the track. Clear, cooler, even a light breeze. It did rain at home while I was gone, but the lawn needed it.
