I believe they were thru Ford/Mercury and not aftermarket.

They were made by a member along time ago.

For some reason I thought they were a ford part, oh well, don't need one anyway

Mine is still going strong. I think it is from early 2003 & done by a member. Don't recall Ford being involved at all.

First run was by us at MM.Net for a Marauderville goody bag, ad I recall. Vendor, WChain - Wes - took over and made more available. That was a good 10 years ago.

You do know you can make your own, right. cut rubberized/leather mat to shape, cut proper sized hole for filler neck, slip on and you're done. Easy, peazy

I still have mine from Wes all those years ago. I know I bought 2 when I picked up the oil deflector, but I can't find the spare one I had.

Here's a picture of one. Wonder what type of paint sticks to rubber and won't come off with gasoline

I just don't drip after inserting. No need to for a bib.

Straight up...didn't care about having anything on it, just the concept. Been in there since 06. and was more for protecting paint from gas cap. Have since went to locking gas cap (no strap) and just tuck it in the pocket next to filler at fillup. Not really interested in making it a business.

Same here, bib is so the cap doesn't sit against the paint...

I have one that the previous owner had put on the car. It's in rough shape and I would like a new one.
What are the going rates for the gas bib? Has anyone thought of doing a run of these and putting them for sale to members here?
