Chickened out and got the 2800-3000 option with a "C" type stator.
Was on the fence for the 3000-3200 range!

Personal preference, but I say you made the right call. At least it won't irritate you during daily driving.

I have a triple disc 2800 stall, then again, my cars a DTR, so no need to try to make it fast....:depress:

I agree. I have a 3500 stall and it's all in the tune. Daily driven in stop and go traffic with no issues. But with a NA car I think you will love it.

Circle D said they had a B and C type stators and that the units for SC the "C" type allows the converter to spool up faster, so I got that type.

Haha - you need the triple disc for 450 and above rwhp... (and I know you need it) ;) Must be hella fun bliping the throttle light to light with all that TQ

I'm hoping, I want the tune changed so she locks up at light TP around town. Plan is to stay N/A and get a 5.0 shortblock with stock stroke, forged rods, small bump in CR. I already have a mint set of C heads and 98 Cobra cams
350-399 rwhp is what I want so this converter will still be ok. It will end up stalling higher with the new engine.
Then we can race again and see if the grundle will get me, I may add a small bottle to make sure.. :D
