Hi my name is Jason. I have an 2003 Mercury Marauder that I have been doing a engine rebuild and Eaton swap on. I have a question about what kind of head gaskets I should use with having an Eaton blower on my new motor. Motor has upgraded rods and pistons. I will be using ARP head studs on the new motor. Is the OEM head gaskets good enough for a built motor with Boost? If they are not good enough what other head gaskets brands have people used and why?

Plenty of Eaton swaps and Trilogy on a stock motor.

OEM/felpro gaskets are more than enough to hold up to 20+ psi of boost

FelPro 1141L and 1141R

Ford Racing gaskets are capable of handling quite a bit of boost.

Felpro makes the Ford Gaskets, so there is no need to debate who's better

Wow. I've been thinking about a bigger crank pulley. I'm running an underdrive and only make 16-18 psi. Just want to keep it streetable on pump gas.

My crank pulley overlaps my water pump pulley. [emoji6]

Sounds like just a little bit overdrive...

Order them from rock auto. 70 bucks for both shipped. Now time to look in to some Arp botten end bolts. Any good advice on where to get them?
