Any reason why you go with a single blade?

Not really. Did I miss out on a better approach?

I assume he missed the word didn't in his sentence, his sentence was not fitting
Mono vs dual
Single vs dual
Nice tbody

I don't think a single will gain you anything on your build. The one you went with may not have either but it looks good :burnout:

My two goals were:
1. Increased throttle response
2. more attractive part than stock
I am told the hp gain claims are bs and no measurable hp increase will occur. The two goals above are enough for me.

Once your in the 600's+ you will see the gains.

I will never be in the 600's. That is way too much hp for my tastes. 500 rwhp will be just fine. A Stage 1 should get me there and allow me to pass CA Smog.

Please forgive me if I am wrong, but I thought the accufab throttle bodies had issues with the cruise control cable not working properly, or is that just the single blade model?

I do not know. It is KC's job to make the part work.

I think you will be happy with the BBS 5.3 NA 360tq is fun Vortech you will shred the tires. From a dig I easily roast the tires a good 15-20ft just mashing the go pedal. That never gets old.

Well, I am hoping I spin less and boogie more. But I get your meaning.

No issues with my single blade Accufab for the 03 Cobra.

Yes, I think he had a single blade that stuck WOT on a track run, didn't he? Can't find the thread.

I have had junk aftermarket parts ruin my engine, but wreck the whole car? :mad2:
One should be very careful about running aftermarket stuff. It is often needed to get where we want for horsepower, but there is lots of untested, unproven junk out there. MMR broken valve springs, Probe pistons expanding being specified clearance. And that is just what I have experienced . . .

I dyno tested a accufab throttlebody, 1 rwhp gain and about 5 across the board at various points in the powerband. They do look good though.

The throttle response is up to debate and see my above response for added power.

The cruise control will work just the accufab has a heavier spring so the cruise control may feel a little twitchy since its working harder to open the throttle.

So, when all is said and done, it look good. I can live with that.
