Window regulator

I went to roll down my window and I heard a crack and crunching/ movement of the window motor with no movement of the actual window.

Trying to decide between the ac delco regulator and the dorman regulator/motor assembly. Which is better quality?

I installed the Dorman last year. Works fine.

For future reference, is there a pictorial/write up on replacing these?
