I was cruising the net looking for Cobra fender emblems when I stumbled on this site. They have some cool stuff, but I thought these S/C emblems would interest some of you SCers.

Yea, the V8 emblems are pretty cool, but I don't like the cheesy aluminum outline. I'll be posting another thread in a minute... it's got all sorts of cool Ford emblems on it.

Up until now, I haven't been interested in a S/C emblem--but this one has me thinking...hummmnn......

TOO BIG! :puke:
I want something a bit more sublte (if I was going to do anything like this)! 9 inches long by 1 inch high? Why not hang a big magnetic vinyl sign on your doors saying "My car is Super Charged" - NOT!
JMHO though...

Saw an '04 SVT Mustang Cobra in front of me the other day that had a "281 Supercharged" emblem on the rear. Do all the Cobras get that? It was nice and subtle, not over-stated.
I might have asked the guy about it... if I could have caught up with him. :o
Subtle?
IMHO any indication of a supercharger under the hood is not subtle enough. I don't want to attract guys to my bumper hoping that they can make me a "kill." I want to be the guy who looks like he is unarmed when what I am carrying is a Glock .40 loaded with hollow points.
Best,

I've got a few stories I could tell about packing my Glock .40 (G22), as well. :) I know what you mean. Still, there was _nothing_ about this Mustang that was as subtle as the badge on the back. It had a roll cage, aggressive rubber on the rims, etc. The entire car was built to race.

When I finally get blown, I'm gonna order the red and black plastic "supercharged" emblems from a Nissan something or other truck. The type was clean and modern, and the scale was just about right (not too big).

YES!!!!! That's it!!!!! I'm AMAZED someone knew what I was talking about AND found it for me!!!!! THANK YOU, Constable!!!!! Whatay'all think? The typeface is clean, modern . . . the size is understated, subtle (5-1/8" x 1/2") . . . red and black, well, THAT works. Certainly worth $13.28 each to at least try. I'm thinking . . . one for each fender? Is there a better place to put them?

I think it is the right size...
Though I think chrome would be more in keeping with the understaded elegance of the car...
Typeface is not bad...
Maybe Script like the old SuperSport Script

I like the Supercharged emblem off the Buick Riviera.
It fits perfect on the back of my '96 Tbird spoiler.
