Hello All, got a new converter from Circle D. Got it all installed and all put back together and I go key on and start it!

It's making all kinds of HORRIBLE noises! Stop it, take off TC access cover (about 2 inches big) and I notice the damn rubber engine access plug is in there!! I got it out with a large flat blade and now the Marauder is fine! I thought I'd runied the whole transmission somehow! (and my new converter) Not a good feeling....

When I put the black rubber plug in on the back of the engine, I must have pushed it down too much, flywheel caught it and tore it up.


So does anyone have the part number for the TC access rubber plug (engine side)

found plug - $7.62 from Ford dealer.

so far so good! Its definitely smoother and less harsh than the pink PI it replaced!

It feels different in reverse, rev wise...

CircleD is awesome would recommend. 2nd converter I've gotten from them.
