What is the best method to removing the cigarette lighter and adding a Boost Gauge to the Gauge Pod? Is there a write-up somewhere? How did you brace the gauge? Thank you in advance.

might be easier to put the gauge in a A-PILLAR pod to see it better rather then cut up the factory one.

i believe a hole saw and use a angled gauge mount. autometer makes them. i may have one. mine has a gauge their and moved lighter to side for a 12 v source

I used the angular trim piece to layout where I wanted the third gauge on the front of the pod and then traced along the ID of the mount with a marker. Cut it out with a dremel and mounted the gauge. Easy peasy. Believe I did have to modify the bracing for the gauge mount for it to fit inside the pod.
