I'd say a good rule of thumb (someone correct me if I'm wrong) would be to change the oil at least* once a year, even if you don't drive much. Probably wouldn't hurt to do once every 6 months, especially if you're doin short trips when you drive it.

Blackstone Labs, do any oil analysis and follow their directions.

Officially, this ^^^
Realistically, I probably wouldn't change it. I normally go 5k between changes, but in your case with such low miles driven, I would probably just go 3k.

If you were using dino oil you'd be correct.
Some folks recommend twice a year due to production of acids in the motor when not run for very long. Not sure if this is for regular oil or full synthetic (blended oil is considered regular petroleum oil due to only 20% being a synthetic product).

Periodically warming the engine up to operating temperature for a period of time without driving it may also be an option to burning off the contaminates.
