Moonroof parts needed

The moonroof in my 2004 won't seal all the way. It slides forwards and backwards; however, it won't raise up to seat. Any lead sources?

I love the moonroof option, but it's so hot in GA i only open it after the sun goes down.

Webasto can install the same one as oem, but they aren't cheap , i was quoted $1,895 when I was looking for a Blue.

Any ideas why the roof moves fine but doesn't stop at the correct place? Guy I bought this DTR said it'll go back, comes forward and automatically goes in the up up up position

I haven't touched it at all...,

Also why does this sunroof map compass show NORTH SOUTH EAST WEST , when my 03 shows N S E W

Normally it is just wearable parts that can be changed out easily. I bought a kit on eBay for my F150 that includes all wearable track parts for $100

As for your compass, it's an 03-04 thing.

Or your throueas bulb is burnt out. [emoji4]

Clean it well and grease it. I own two 04s with factory option VIN # cars with one problem not closing all the way. Cleaned it spotless and small amount of grease and it fixed itself after 1 week of use. Of course parts can wear, opening roof at the wrong time with ice preventing it from opening. Adjustment can be made by I never needed to fix it. I found information online. I will look for paper copy I usually keep. PM and I will look. I love my tilt up option.

How tough is the sunroof/moonroof to pull. I have a minor roof repair to do near the seal
Then I'll tackle the track

My dads SB 04 hardtop says N S E W. Took him for a ride today in the DTR and he said WTF, mine shows the words.

One Phillips screw in each corner, lift up. At least on my truck. Removing the glass honestly took one minute. I had three broken plastic pieces and it wouldn't pop up and seal.

Just has mine re sealed.. $450. They quoted me $1295 for a new one installed in a car without a moonroof. Yes, its a webasto.

Possibly a bad or dirty switch or relay

They changed the compass readout from '03 to '04.

My dads 2004 silver birch #17 build date 8/25/2003 shows N S E W just like my 2003.

They had a leftover '03 part so they installed it. Remember the Marauder was a "parts bin" car.
