If you had those sand blasted prior to powder coating, don't forget to wash the insides with soap and water
Grit + your motor = bad news

The top piece did not come out as specified. It is being sent back to be corrected. When done, the top should be a glossy, deep black with subtle hints of metallic. The vendor is having trouble with subtle. Worst case, just plain glossy, deep black will be used.
I wanted glossy, black chrome, but no one was able to deliver without first polishing the unit to a mirror finish. The cost would have been too high. I say this because the intake manifold will have a short life until the blower is installed.

Looks nice. The speckled look would be good at hiding any oxidized pitting that couldn't be remedied before paint.

What no port and polish? I paid $500 to have my lower cut open and ported/polished.

Dont get me wrong your intake looks great. You went all out on other items, perhaps port match the bottom of the lower intake to the heads?

Porting was completed before powder coating.

Yes, I bought it from another member who went the Trilogy route. They only had the lower done, I'll have to figure something out for an upper.

Either VHT or Duplicolor high heat as I used both brands on the upper, lower, cam covers, timing cover, and brackets.
They look just like they did a year and a half ago when I did it. No fading, chipping, or wearing of any kind.
